I don't consider myself a jazz pianist, but occasionally I like to experiment with music of that style. Being a bit of an amateur at writing jazz music, I tend to just stick with notes in the blues scales (i.e. C, Eb, E, F#, G, Bb, C) and play a combination of those notes for each chord respectively. However, one thing I've always wanted to come up with is a good ending for a jazz piano piece...
A classic chord progression I've found that works quite well for ending music is C, C7, F, Fm, C, C, with the bass climbing down chromatically at the same time; C, Bb, A, Ab, G, C. I included this in my own ending here, but also added a bit more on the end, which is where I came up with this:

I kept this in the key of C for simplicity. I didn't work out chords the 2nd part, as I thought it would be best to keep this as a single-finger piano solo. If you're a pianist, feel free to give this a go and let me know what you think. Call it a freebie from me!
